Details of current vacancies can be found in this section. We have a number of vacancies for Teachers, admin and support roles throughout our schools.

Training to be a Teacher with Spiral

We are now recruiting our 2021 cohort of trainees who will begin training in September 2021, qualify as teachers in June 2022 and be ready to teach their first class in  September 2022.  If you are interested in training to be a teacher find out more on our training and apprenticeship page.

 

We are particularly keen to recruit new teaching assistants who would like to train to be teachers at some time in the future.  If you have a degree, and would like to be a teacher, a teaching assistant job could be the first step towards your new career.

Specialist 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Mandeville Primary School

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is up for a challenge to work 1:1 with a child/children with SEND. The candidate should use their experience to support the child’s learning whilst ensuring that every child gets the best education possible.

You will work 30 hours per week plus five inset days and a minimum of two days to be worked during school holidays.

Class Teacher - Part Time

Springmead Primary School

 

We are currently looking to appoint a part-time class teacher for all day Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday morning/afternoon for a September start (2.5 days).  This position is currently fixed term but there is a strong chance that it will become a permanent position.

Classroom Teaching Assistant

Mandeville Primary School

 

Mandeville is part of the Spiral Partnership Trust which actively promotes a culture of high rewards, high standards and high expectations.

 

We are currently looking for a caring, enthusiastic individual to join our team of dedicated staff as a Teaching Assistant. The post involves supporting pupils learning and emotional needs within the classroom environment as well as delivering some interventions. The successful candidate will be able to work under the class teacher's direction as well as independently either in class, small groups or 1 to 1 support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting children across the curriculum and you will need to have GCSEs in English, Maths and Science at grade C or above.
