Teaching Assistant

Chaulden Junior School 

 

We are looking for someone who believes every child can make great progress with the right approach and who wants to support every child to be the best they can be.

The right candidate will support individuals and small groups of children with their learning both in and outside the classroom. The role will include:

  • Leading 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Break and lunchtime duties
  • Supporting learning in class

The position is for 32.5 hours per week term time plus INSET days plus 2 additional days (pro-rata’d). Up to three personal days can be taken during term time which would need to be paid back during school holidays.

KS2 Classroom Teaching Assistant

Assistant Caretaker

Mandeville Primary School

 

We are looking for a friendly and hardworking person, who will take great pride in looking after our beautiful school.

We need someone who will be responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy, safe and secure environment for our children and adults, but for whom the school feels more than just a place of work. The candidate must be motivated, committed and trustworthy and will ideally live nearby the school. This role does involve interacting with children and being a good role model. Mandeville Primary School prides itself on a strong safeguarding culture and boundaries between adults and children is a priority.

Under the direction of the Site Manager you will become part of a small dedicated team who all work extremely hard to provide the best for our pupils. Suitable applicants will be skilled and experienced in DIY and general maintenance, hardworking and able to use their initiative. Duties will include unlocking the building; carrying out minor repairs, cleaning, maintenance, decorating and helping to ensure that our school premises are safe and welcoming.  Together with our cleaners, you will also need to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the school premises.

This position is a 32.5 hour part-time role working between 12.00 and 6.30pm each day, 52 weeks per year.  Some overtime may be required to cover school lettings later in the evenings and at weekends which will be paid in addition to the basic salary.

Teaching Assistant

Springmead School is part of the Spiral Partnership Trust which is a community of schools formed in 2016 with Excellent Teaching and Learning, Always and Everywhere at its heart. We are currently looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. 

 

We pride ourselves on being a caring and nurturing school that has high expectations and aspirations for all our children. We aim to provide a rich and stimulating learning environment and strongly believe that a positive start to a child’s education impacts significantly on their engagement and attitudes to learning. 

 

The hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm with 30 minutes for lunch, totalling 32.30 hours per week.  The job will include covering lunch duties.  Salary is above the local authority rates and is a term time plus Inset days contract.
