SENCO at Chaulden Junior School

We would like to appoint a part-time temporary SENCO at Chaulden junior School for the spring and summer terms 2022.  The role involves working up to 3 days per week at Chaulden to support SEND pupils and to develop SEN provision for all pupils through quality first teaching and a well matched curriculum.  This is a great opportunity for a teacher passionate about SEND provision to experience a new role and develop their skills.  High quality training and support will be available from our Trust SENCO.

Spiral Partnership Trust

Spiral Partnership Trust has a vacancy for a part-time CFO who will work closely with the Spiral Senior Leadership team, working across the Trust to manage the finance function.

 

Purpose of Role:

The successful candidate will manage the finance function of the Spiral Partnership Trust and provide guidance on all Trust finance and business matters to the Executive Leadership Team and Directors, ensuring financial robustness and stability within the Trust.

Key responsibilities:

1. Manage all financial and administrative operations for the Trust, including

  • Financial systems and processes
  • Financial compliance
  • Budget preparation
  • Financial reporting
  • Audit services & governance

2. Role in Senior Leadership Team

  • Participation at Senior Leadership Team, SPT Board and appropriate committee meetings where required.
  • Assist CEO in strategic development work
  • In the absence of the CEO, take delegated responsibility for financial decisions
  • Provide leadership and skill development to school business managers on financial matters to ensure an efficient approach to school business management across the Trust

3. Line Management

  • Line management of finance and payroll central staff
  • Support the recruitment and development of school business managers and finance assistants in schools
  • On-going training to develop the Trust in-house team

  • Accountancy qualifications such as the ICAEWACCACIMA or CIPFA

Admin Officer

Chaulden Junior School

 

Chaulden Junior School has a vacancy for a friendly, well-organised and efficient people person to fill the fixed term (until 21st July 2022) role of Admin Officer (covering a career break), joining our busy admin team as our first point of contact for the school.  No two days are ever the same; but you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to children’s lives. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and professional individual, with the ability to provide a warm, friendly and efficient welcome to visitors and a high standard of administrative support to our school team.  Successful applicants will possess excellent communication and ICT skills, with the ability to approach tasks with enthusiasm, energy, initiative and commitment. 

The position is 34.5 hours per week, term time (39 weeks including INSET days) + a minimum of two days to be worked during the holidays. 

 

The hours are 8.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday’s Tuesdays and Fridays, 8.30am – 2.30pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with half an hour unpaid lunch break each day.

Previous experience of working in a school is not essential for this role, but would be highly desirable.

Classroom Teaching Assistant

Mandeville Primary School

 

We are currently looking for a caring, enthusiastic individual to join our team of dedicated staff as a Teaching Assistant. The post involves supporting pupils learning and emotional needs within the classroom environment as well as delivering some interventions. The successful candidate will be able to work under the class teacher's direction as well as independently either in class, small groups or 1 to 1 support.

Teaching Assistant

We are looking for someone who believes every child can make great progress with the right approach and who wants to support every child to be the best they can be.

The right candidate will support individuals and small groups of children with their learning both in and outside the classroom. The role will include:
