Teaching Assistant

Springmead Primary School


Springmead School is part of the Spiral Partnership Trust which is a community of schools formed in 2016 with Excellent Teaching and Learning, Always and Everywhere at its heart. We pride ourselves on being a caring and nurturing school that has high expectations and aspirations for ourselves and all our children. We aim to provide a rich and stimulating learning environment and strongly believe that a positive start to a child’s education impacts significantly on their engagement and attitudes to learning.


We have recently been awarded an Ofsted “Good” rating in all areas of the school and are now working toward becoming an outstanding school.  To help us in our journey, we are currently looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant who can work across all phases.


The hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm with 30 minutes for lunch, totalling 32.30 hours per week.  The job will include covering lunch duties.  Salary is above the local authority rates and is a 40 week contract.

Chaulden Junior School

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced class teacher, committed to helping our pupils to grow academically and emotionally so that they can fulfil their potential. The successful candidate will be confident managing pupil behaviour; consistent and fair. You will be able to adapt your teaching to differentiate for pupils across a range of needs and ages. You will have high professional standards, supporting the school to grow and improve by, contributing to, and implementing agreed policies and procedures. You will be a team player with a good sense of humour.


This is a permanent  position from January 2023.  Full time and part time applicants will be considered.
