Executive Leader Recruitment

Welcome from the Chair

I am delighted that you are interested in a Trust Leadership role at Spiral Partnership Trust.

Since our first schools became academies in 2012 we have grown to six primary schools across South and West Hertfordshire, led by exceptional headteachers and leadership teams. They have a shared commitment to putting children first in all that they do and in promoting "excellent teaching and learning – always and everywhere". We believe that effective leadership is always the key to success and we are looking to continue the collaborative, supportive, developmental approach that has been our strength over the last 10 years.  Our schools maintain their own individuality and each has a superb team of teachers and support staff.  The Trust has a small but effective central team who are committed to doing the very best for staff and children alike. We believe as a MAT in the freedom to innovate and are known for our creativity in many areas. We value local governance and each school has a Local School Committee to support its individual needs.

Our team of Directors have been with us for several years and brings significant experience in education, business and the professions.  They decide the strategy of the Trust and do not get involved in the ongoing job of executive leadership.  Each year we renew our 5 year strategic plan in order to achieve long term sustainability, and the Trust is on a path of continuous development. Our Trust leaders contribute fully to this development and play a key part in its implementation, along with leading an outstanding educational pathway for all of the children in our care, and ensuring that we have a mature and robust structure to cope with the ever changing educational landscape.

Thank you for your interest in the Spiral Partnership Trust. I look forward to receiving your application.

With Best Regards,

Andrew Mayo

Chair of the Board of Directors
