Details of current vacancies can be found in this section. We have a number of vacancies at the moment for Teachers, admin and support roles throughout our schools.

 

Visits to the school are warmly encouraged - please telephone to arrange.  We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people therefore all posts are  subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Training to be a Teacher with Spiral

We are now recruiting for our 2017 cohort of trainees who will qualify as teachers and be ready to teach their first class in  September 2018.  If you are interested in training to be a teacher find out more on our training and apprenticeship page.

 

We are particularly keen to recruit new teaching assistants who would like to train to be teachers at some time in the future.  If you have a degree, and would like to be a teacher, a teaching assistant job could be the first step towards your new career.

Experienced EYFS Teacher (part time - 0.6 fte)

After School Club Leader/Playleader - Fleetville Infant and Nursery School

 

We are  looking for enthusiastic and fun loving people to join our After School club Team (FACES). As a Play Worker (Training will be given) You would be responsible for working with children from both Fleetvillle Infants and Fleetville Junior Schools from 3.00-6.15pm daily (16.25 hours per week). There would also be an expectation to cover some of the Holiday Club requirement during the school holidays.  FACES is an established club with a great team ethos.

Midday Supervisory Assistant - Fleetville Infant and Nursery School

 

We wish to appoint someone to our lunchtime team who is friendly, flexible and enthusiastic.  You would help supervise our children in the dining room and in the playground.  The children need someone who will ensure they have a happy lunch time where they can enjoy their lunch and meet and make new friends.  We would expect the person appointed to interact with the children to provide support and encouragement. The hours of working are 12.00-1.20 pm term time only.  We are happy to consider applicants who are available for just a few sessions a week.

All employees are subject to pre-employment checks, including the right to work in the UK, health checks and Enhanced DBS.

Learning Support Assistant - Fleetville Infant and Nursery School

 

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant, to support a child with additional needs in our Reception class.  The successful candidate will be committed to ensuring the continued progress, as well as the care and welfare of the child. In addition they will be expected to take an active role within the school community. The post is for 16.25 hrs per week (12-3.15pm) and is linked to an individual child with an EHCP.  Please apply online with a letter of application indicating your strengths. Part time teaching vacancy at Fleetville Junior School

Mid-day Supervisory Assistants at Fleetville Junior School

 

We are looking for more people to join our existing team of midday supervisors specifically to work in the dining room supervising the children eat their lunch (not serving meals).

 

The post is for 1 hour 20 minutes each day (Monday to Friday) from 12.00 to 1.20pm.

The right candidate should have a positive, caring attitude and show warmth and sensitivity to children.  Please be aware that there is an element of manual handling to the job.
